History

We are officially the 'Oldest Cannabis Farm' in Texas! 
In fact, our farm has been in our family since 1836, the same year that Texas became an independent nation. Since then, it has been used for cattle, various types of farming, and in 2019 became one of the first licensed hemp farms in Texas!
As stewards of this multi-generational farm, we feel that we have a responsibility to operate in an environmentally conscious manner.  We believe that living soil, regenerative farming techniques,  and completely organic inputs lead to healthier cannabis (hemp), therefore higher quality products.

Honey Bee Program

We have been producing cannabis/hemp infused honey for nearly a decade.
First in Colorado, and now here on our farm.
Our bees feed on the unique vegetation that is native to our farm, which gives it a unique taste that blends perfectly with the unique compounds in the cannabis / hemp plant. The result is an infused honey that actually tastes like real honey without the additives of commercial honey. Since we are not beekeepers ourselves, we work closely with Hives For Heroes and their network of veteran beekeepers to maintain our hives and keep them healthy.
Fun fact: Each of our hives has a different image. Because the hives are typically located very close together, bees use that unique image as an 'address' so that they can return to the proper hive!
